How to Get to Fosen
There are many different ways to reach the Fosen region. Fosen is a peninsula in Trøndelag with several access routes, two ferry connections, and express boat services from Trondheim.
Ferry Connections
Express Boat Services from Trondheim
Trondheim – Vanvikan route 810
Trondheim – Brekstad route 800/805

Bus Connections
For travel by bus to the Fosen region, we recommend using AtB’s route planner. Departure times may vary, but the planner provides real-time bus schedules.
Road Connections
By following County Road 17 (Fv17) and then turning onto County Road 715 (Fv715), you will reach Osen Municipality.
By following Fv17 across the Beitstad Bridge or via Sprova, you will arrive in Malm. From Malm, you can either take County Road 202 (Fv202) to Åfjord Municipality or follow County Road 702 (Fv702) to Indre Fosen Municipality.
By following County Road 755 (Fv755) across the Skarnsund Bridge, you can continue along Fv755 to Indre Fosen Municipality.
